As part of our ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure, Coates Street between 4th Avenue and Harlan Drive will be temporarily closed for construction from Sunday, July 28th, 2024, to Friday, August 30th, 2024. The road will be closed each night from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM to minimize disruption during peak hours.

Key Details:

• Full Closure: Coates Street will be fully closed to traffic between 4th Avenue and Harlan Drive during the specified hours. A detour plan is in place to guide you through alternative routes.
• Detour Route: Please refer to the attached site map for details on the detour route. Driveways for residences east of 4th Avenue will remain accessible throughout construction.
• Projected Noise Levels: Evening construction activities are expected to produce noise levels around 80dB, similar to previous operations.
• Combined Work Schedule: While major work will be performed at night, some minor work south of Fleetwood Street will occur during the day.
