Sign up for emergency alerts from the city by visiting the official website and accessing the emergency alert section on the Police Department page. There are several ways to sign up for City alerts.

- As of 2013, the City of Coatesville Police Department offers a FREE smart phone app, “CoatesvillePD Tips” providing citizens the ability to submit anonymous tips to the police department. This app can be downloaded free from your phone app store and used with Android and iPhone devices.
